Real Madrid’s Hakimi and Milan prospect Mastour to style for Morocco home-based against Liberia

Real Madrid youngster Achraf Hakimi and AC Milan attacking midfielder Hachim Mastour will feature for the Botola Pro in the friendly with Liberia.
Atlas Lions head coach, Hervé Renard recommended the two internationals to local national team coach Jamal Sellami for the friendly encounters with Liberia on August 31 and then Zambia on September 6.
The opportunity will allow the teenagers more playing time to accumulate international experience before joining the senior national team.
Hakimi, who has two caps with Morocco’s Under-18, was called up for the Atlas Lions two 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Cape Verde.
The 17-year-old right-back was involved in the FIFA underage player investigation, which led to Real Madrid’s transfer ban. He was approached by Spain to play with their Under-19 set-up in November 2015.
Hakimi’s compatriot, Mastour is the youngest player ever to play for Morocco’s senior national team, at age 16 and 363 days.
He made his international debut with the Atlas Lions on June 12, 2015, in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya at the Stade Adrar in Agadir, coming on for Nordin Amrabat for the final two minutes of the match, which Morocco won 1–0.
Mastour was capped six times and scored once for Italy under-16s. He currently plays for Dutch club Zwolle, on loan from European giant AC Milan.
