The stylish and magnificent young Africa midfielder, Dulee
Johnson, has made it again as the 2007 AIK Best Player of the Year. The
Liberia international continues to soar high after being named among the
11 top players in Sweden just after the 2006/7 league.
This was announced at an impressive ceremony of AIK Players and
management to award best deserving players at the end of the league
season.
Perhaps the finest holding and attacking midfielder in Swedish Football
history, Dulee has made a career out of keeping it simple and protecting
the back four and supporting the attacking players to brilliant effect.
Dulee has enjoyed two successful seasons with AIK Solna - during which
the club finished 2nd and 5th places respectively in the Swedish
Premiership and the participated in the Champions League and UEFA
tournament.
He also earned his Liberia debut in a 1-0 win against Chad in April 2001
as a
Dulee, a supremely skilled and combative midfield player, made his AIK
Sonla debut in a 2-0 win over his former club BK Hacken and settled into
life in the Swedish Premiership outfit very quickly.
Right now he is one of the hottest young players in Europe. His services
is being sought after by Major European clubs in Italy, England, Germany
and Spain. His ability to win the ball in the middle of the park and his
ball distribution skills will be a asset to any club. He is being
compared to great players like Frank Lampard and Makelele as a midfield
maestro.
