Barrack Young Controllers’ players have been told they will receive a handsome prize if they qualified over their Mozambican counterparts Club Ferroviario De Beria on today.

The Liberian Champions lost the first leg 2-0 away last week Sunday in Mozambique; BYC needs to win 3-0 to progress to CAF’s lucrative Group Stage.

Addressing a news conference Friday at the team’s headquarters Blue Field, Sekou Konneh President of the club disclosed to the media that a handsome reward awaits his players if they reach the Group Stage.

“We have an incentive per person bonus that would have a positive impact to their lives if they qualified the team, and they know.”

The tough talking BYC president is quoted as saying “Management has come to an agreement over their extra bonuses.”

The Liberian Champions arrived in the country on Wednesday from Beria, Mozambique days after their defeat.

According to Mr. Konneh the handsome prize will not be made public due to social problems, as not to put players under any additional pressure from friends and family.

Sekou Konneh is of the conviction that the extra bonus will motivate his players ahead of their crucial match today at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

He is therefore calling on players of the team to put in their very best on to secure qualification.

When asked if the team can qualify Konneh express optimism of the team reaching the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
