BYC announce friendly vs. FC Johansen at ATS Featured

The Champions of Barrack Young Controllers have announced a friendly against the Cup Champions of Sierra Leone at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in central Monrovia on January 29, 2017at 3: 30 PM.

Sunday International Club Friendly is organized in partnership with the Liberia Football Association and is intended to test both teams strength as they get ready for their CAF champions league/Confederation Cup matches next month.

According to a release from the Liberian Champions they are pleased to let the sporting public in Liberia know that Sunday’s encounter will prepare both clubs for their 2017 CAF Champions League/Confederation Cup matches.

the meeting is the fourth between both clubs with BYC having the better record as BYC-II the feeder side of BYC eliminated Johansen from the CAF Cup four years ago.

As far negotiations is Concern FC Johansen will be transported from the Sierra Leone/Liberian boarder camped and fed by the LFA, While BYC Football will be responsible for all aspects for the game at ATS, including advertising, promotions ticketing, and security.

An Advance team of Johansen is expected in the country later Wednesday while the entire delegation will arrive in Liberia Friday afternoon and will be guest of BYC as they battle league leaders FC Fassell at Blue Field.

BYC-I will face Stade Malien on February 12, 2017 at home the ATS while FC Johansen will lock horns with Moroccan FUS Rabat on the weekend of February 10-12 in Freetown.

The Management of BYC Football wants Liberians to turn out in their numbers to cheer their Champions to victory against FC Johansen.

BYC head coach Copper Sannah told reporters after his side draw with Watanga that the Friendly is important for his team ahead of their Showpiece with Stade Malien.

“It will show us how our players can performed against a Foreign team something we hope to notice.

He promised a good performance from his players Sunday but urged Liberians not to expect too much from BYC against FC Johansen because the game is a friendly.

Meanwhile a minimum entrance fees first game will be Charge.
