Former National Football Team the Lone Star Player turned Coach Terrance Dixon has been appointed as Head Coach of Mighty Barrolle Football Team replacing Wilson Farley who has been serving in the post since the commencement of the 2015/2016 league season.
As part of his mandate, incoming coach Dixon would be required to recruit new players and work with administration to re-negotiate contracts with existing players that he deems fit to form part of the squad.
Stating reasons for the replacement, the President of the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association Eugene Nagbe revealed that prevailing circumstances with Barrolle performance in the ongoing LFA National League, require the recruitment of technicians capable of meeting higher performance demands in the form of communication, professionalism and setting standards in order to realize clear objectives. President Nagbe said Barrolle cannot be allowed to linger in the relegation zone.
He expressed gratitude to outgoing coach Farley for his efforts including contribution to the team’s promotion to Division One.
