Solomon Grimes meets new boy Theo Weeks

The Cyprus first division football league will resumed this weekend with some exciting matches across the country but all focus will be at the 2,500 seated Aradippou Stadium where fans will gather to watch two of Liberia international players battling each other.
For the first time in the Cyprus first division, football fans are expected to watch two Liberian internationals go against each other.
Cyproit football league new comer Theo Weeks Lewis of Ermis Aradippou who has four (4) points from their first four (4) league games will welcome Solomon Grimes high flying Nea Salamis who are seated 7th on a 14 team log with six (6) points from four (4) games.
With the recent winning form of Nea Salamis, Solomon Grimes is expecting a victory but a tough match. In an interview with Grimes , he stated " It will be a tough match. I'm not underestimating Ermis but I'm confident of my club Nea Salamis getting all three points. It's always a great feelings playing against your brother in a football league most especially when in the top flight league in Europe."
Nea Salamis who lost their first two games before the just ended international break has discovered their winning form in their last two matches with a 3-1 victory away at Ayia Napa and an impressive 2-0 victory over giant Apollon with Grimes playing a major part in the process.
While midfield maestro Theo Weeks will lead the defensive department in the middle to ensure his Ermis collects their second three points of the season. Ermis has managed to get just a win from four matches.

Domestic football returned to action across the world after the international football break and some Liberians playing away had a joyous weekend while others had theirs in pains n sorrows.
Fresh from helping the Lonestar of Liberia to a 1-0 victory over Tunisia, right foot back Solomon Grimes was again instrumental as he helped his Cyproit division one club Nea Salamis to 3-1 victory away from home. The victory was Nea Salamis first since the new season. Having lost their previous two matches. Nea Salamis now move up to 8th place with just three(3) points.
With the first round of the 2015 Malaysia cup been played on Saturday ,it was an exciting opener for Liberian international striker Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh, defender Patrick Nyemah Gedhardt and midfielder Zah Krangar who had all reason to smile after the end of the 90 minutes.
Midfield maestro Zah Krangar conducted things in the center of the pitch as Felda United were able to pick up a 3-0 victory at Temerloh Mini Stadium. Zah who is known for his killer passes assisted two of Felda goals. Zambian born Australia international Ndumba Makeche two goals were enough to add onto Malaysian forward Indra lone goal to wrap things up for Felda. The victory takes Felda to second in Group C , level on points and goals with Kelantan who also won 3-0.
Just from helping the Lonestar of Liberia to a 1-0 victory over Tunisia , hardworking defender Patrick Nyemah Gedhardt was again on the winning side as Sarawak got an emphatic 1-0 win over ATM. Malaysia international striker Joseph Kalang lone goal was enough to take Sarawak second place in Group B with three points.
Elsewhere, towering striker Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh failed to register his name on the score sheet but his two assists saw the Red Ants "PKNS FC" took all three points away at Pulau Pinang. The victory means PKNS FC now sits on top of Group D with 3 points and level with second place Pahang who score less goals.
South African base Liberia international Anthony Snoti Laffor who was rule out with calf injury had to watch his beloved Mamelodi Sundowns suffered a painful 2-1 defeat away at Golden Arrow. Sundowns poor start to the new league season has dropped them nine (9) place with just four (4) points.
Life in Albania started sour for Abel Gebor who was on the losing side after his club Tërbuni bow to a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of visitors Skenderb. The defeat pull Tërbuni down to six (6) place with just three (3) points.
Liberian duo Teah Dennis and Marcus Macauley of Al Ahli had a bitter weekend in Jordan after going down 1-0 to Al Faisa at home in their opening match of the new season. Al Ahli with no points sank straightly to tenth on the table.
William Jebor failed to make Ponferradina 18 man squad as he watched his side suffered their second defeat of the season after losing 1-0 against league leaders Alcoron. The defeat brought Ponferradina to 8th place with six (6) points.
Elsewhere in Turkey, powerful winger Tonia Tisdell remains on the sideline due to his calf injury. The young Liberian forward had nothing to do for his club Osmanlispor as they got their first defeat of the new league season, losing 2-1 at home to Konyaspor. The lost means Osmanlispor dropped to 10th place with five (5) points.
