Young enterprising striker Patrick ‘Ronaldinho’ Wleh may be
learning his trade as the likes of his senior compatriot
Francis ‘Grand Pa’ Doe lead the way, but the lad seems
unperturbed un intimidated by their status as he has
surprisingly outshined his senior compatriot in the
Malaysian league cup.
Sime Darby the club of the Liberian duo Patrick Wleh and
Sengbeh Kennedy got the better of their senior compatriot
Francis Doe when they eliminated top flight side Terangganu
on a 2-1 goal aggregate to move to the next round of the
Malaysian cup.
In the first match played in the back yard of Doe’s club on
April 21, the technically gifted Wleh scored one of the two
goals in his side 2-1 win and even won the man of the match
award, and in the second leg on May 1, at home they were
able to sail through as they ended the contest blank to
eliminate Grand pa and Co to the surprise of followers of
football in the part of the world.
