Trenton Chapter Makes Donation to Mighty Barrolle-Liberia
It was a day of pageantry when members, officials and
invited guests of Mighty Barrolle Sports Association, Inc.
of Trenton, New Jersey gathered at the 436 Bert Avenue
residence of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel L. Barrolle to welcome the
guest of honor, Hon. Julia Duncan Cassell, National
President of Mighty Barrolle Sports Association of the
Republic of Liberia.
Amongst the guests in attendance at this well organized
ceremony were Dr. Charles Woelfel, president of the
Baltimore chapter of Barrolle Sports Association, Mr. St.
Tomalin Nyenwolo George, Secretary General of the Rhode
Island chapter, Messrs. Abu Zoeduah and Sean Eugene Cheeks,
President and former Board Chairman of Invincible Eleven
Majestic Sports Association of Trenton, New Jersey, Mr. &
Mrs. Magnus Cassell, Messrs. Latel and Cisco from the
Baltimore Chapter and Mr. Toyuwa Harris from
Liberiansoccer.com amongst others. This elaborate program
was well attended by over 50 members of the Trenton Chapter.

John D. Moore, welcomes the National President and her
guests that included her husband, Mr. Cassell
The President of the Trenton Chapter, Mr. John D. Moore,
welcomed the National President and her guests that included
her husband, Mr. Cassell. He introduced members of the Board
of Director and his Executives and thanked the National
President for honoring the invitation from the Trenton
Association.
In response to a request from the National President, Mrs.
Julia Duncan Cassell, Trenton chapter’s President, Mr. John
D. Moore, presented $1,100 cash to help the administration
with transportation for the team, a laptop and a digital
camera on behalf of his Association to Mrs. Cassell. In
response, the National President, Julia Duncan Cassell,
thanked the Trenton chapter for the donation and assistance
and stated that this was the second time that the chapter
has fulfilled promises made. She recounted that in January
2011, the chapter sent $700.00 to assist with the champing
of the team for the CAF match against Nigeria. She made a
passionate appeal to the leadership and members of the
Trenton chapter to take the lead in fostering peace within
Barrolle. She said “someone has to be the bigger person when
there are disputes within an organization and I am appealing
to this chapter to lead that effort.” She received rousing
applause from the audience.
Also, making a presentation was Mr. D. Zeogar Wilson, former
president of the Trenton chapter. He presented two sets of
jerseys, one for the soccer team and the other for the
Basketball team on behalf of the Atlanta Georgia Chapter of
Mighty Barrolle Sports Association headed by Mr. Joseph
Reeves who could not be present because of other
engagements.
In remarks, the president of Invincible Eleven, Mr. Abu
Zoeduah thanked the president of Mighty Barrolle, Mr. Moore,
for the invitation and challenged the National President to
lead the way to a peaceful resolution for the impasse in
Barrolle. He again pledged his organization’s unflinching
support for the leadership of the Trenton chapter and that
Invincible Eleven will continue to work with the Barrolle
his organization has known and worked with for over two
decades.
Dr. Charles Baby ray Woelfel broke in tear when explaining
the genesis of the formation of the Barrolle Union to the
National President. He said “this is not the Union I
envisaged when I led the organizing committee to form the
Union and hoped that one day we will all come together as
one.” He further stated “this Trenton chapter has made me
ashamed; the chapter has made all of us ashamed; despite all
the Barrolle chapters in the United States and despite all
that this chapter has gone through with the Union, this
chapter continues to be the only chapter supporting the team
back home.” He thanked the leadership and members of the
Trenton chapter for their continued support for the mother
organization back home.
Mr. Samuel L. Barrolle, former National President and elder
of the Trenton chapter reiterate the call by other speakers
to the National President to make concrete recommendations
on the way for peace in Barrolle.
