Premiership new boys Gedi & Sons have announced the departure from the country of ten of their players.

The players left the country Wednesday for the Ivory Coast.

The president of the club told Star Radio the players would be out of the country for an undisclosed period.

Mr. Patrick Garwo said the players would under go tryouts with top Ivorian clubs. The ten players are members of Gedi &Sons first division championship squad.

The players that left the country are Omega Roberts, Melvin King, Chris Dukuly and Ambrose Wreh. Others are Henry Fahnbulleh, Andrew Dorleh, Traley Garwo, Patrick Gborie, Ndefi Kwia and Jerry Jimmy.

Mr.Garwo is hoping that some of the players will secure contracts in Ivory Coast. He said the trip would also help his players to gain international exposure ahead of the league.

Mr.Garwo did not state who was funding the players’ trip to the West African country.
