Monrovia FC former striker Taurus Manneh of Swedish side IK
Viking IF is topping the Liberians goal chart in the Swedish
league: his side is 5th on the log with fourteen points.
Manneh joined IK Viking from 2nd division side Carlsdat
United BK through his manager Wilhelm Myrer, the CEO of
Monrovia FC.
Liberia’s Under-23 striker Sam Johnson has joined the goal
chart with three goals scored so far for Juventus IF in the
Swedish league. Johnson was recently cleared by the Swedish
FA to start playing.
Anthony Allison is another tough Liberian goal netter in the
Swedish league; the striker scored 26 goals for Sundsvall
IFK last season before moving on to 2nd division side
Harnosands FF this season. Allison is the club top scorer
this season with three goals from four matches.
James Teaway formerly of Monrovia FC and IK Viking IF is
another Liberian with Harnosands FF. The goal netter is
another potential name to gain control of the goal chart in
Sweden. The Liberian striker scored seven times for IK
Viking last season and created the avenue for more Liberians
to join the Swedish side.
Lone Star striker Dioh Williams is without a single goal
this season from eight matches played so far for BK Hacken
in the Swedish top flight. BK Hacken is 3rd on the table
with 20 points from 11 matches.
Amadaiya Rennie running with Superettan side Degerfors IF
joined the chart with one goal to his credit from eight
matches. The forward is the only Liberians in the Superettan
league (second tie) and the club is rank 13th on the log
with seven points from eight matches this season.
