football followers and critics of the US Leagues.
In solicited analysis the defined quality of contemporary
football is annulled in this country whose well-liked sport has always
been basketball.
Contrary to this assertion, a handful of Liberian talents
playing in the US football League are still contributing to the

similar dream.
Duncan Tarley, a broad-shouldered attacker, who plays for the
Minnesota Thunder, looks forward to representing his native land if

This season, Tarley will partner fellow Liberian Francis Doe
who recently penned a two-year deal in the Thunder's attack.
The pairing, observers believe, is expected to

home ground, he scored only twice in 18 appearances, something he
confesses was dismal for player of his intensity.
“I didn’t have the time require for scoring more goals
though my total appearances were high. I was always coming in from the
sideline in the last minutes”.
The coach knows my potential and had his reasons, which he
disclosed to me and I understood quite that well”.
But the roving attacker seems optimistic of a new
season at the James Griffin Stadium, Thunder's new home ground this
season.
“My game has been lifted looking at preseason
performances, and what I hope to showcase his season would be worth
hugely”, he avowed
Two years back, Tarley had the honor of revealing his
skills at a training camp in Hungary, but personal reasons prevented
his stay in the eastern European state.
Before joining the Thunder, he led his amateur team
Alliance FC with 22 goals and 27 assists in 14 games and spent three
months with Chaspel FC of Budapest.
“I had an offer to play in Hungary after my
training camp, but rejected the deal because of other reasons”, says
Tarley.
