Suspension At LFA Again
Reports gathered say the
Liberia Football Association (LFA) has dropped another bomb, this time
the suspension of the LFA Deputy Secretary General Napoleon Jaeploe
for one week. The decision to suspend the deputy scribe was reached
during last month Executive Committee meeting.
Mr. Jaeploe’s suspension is what the local
football house has termed as an act inapplicable within institution.
But reports have it that he was suspended for allegedly submitting the
name of John Rufu Ballah on the list at the eleven hour of the
deadline when he was registering candidates who were contesting for
teams slot at the Liberia Football Association (LFA).
The one week suspension will
take effect from Monday, February 6, 2006. He is going for his
weeklong suspension at the time when his boss Yanquio Borsay will be
returning from his weeklong suspension. The FA last month suspended
the Secretary General Yanquio Borsay but did not say why he was
suspended.
While leaving for his suspension last
month, he alleged that there was lot of interference from the top
especially as it relates to the early preparations to the forthcoming
local football house General Assembly which will be preceded by
elections.
The secretarial of the LFA is responsible to conduct
the pending March 18, LFA Congress which is scheduled for Kakata,
Margibi out side Monrovia
