Sub-Associations Stand By Izetta Wesley

    A number of Sub-Associations of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) have pledged to vote for Cllr. S. Izetta Wesley in the March 18 elections of the LFA.

      The Sub-Associations made their vow on Wednesday when Cllr. Wesley held her final campaign meeting them in Monrovia.

     By voting for Cllr. Wesley, the Sub-Associations highly foresee the LFA head having a cordial working relationshipwith President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and Sport Minister Jamesetta Howard, who are both females.

     She informed the Sub-Associations that her reason for contesting the elections stem from the fact she wants to go for her own term after completing that of former LFA President Edwin Snowe.

      Cllr. Wesley declared that she wants to continue has been started.
Also speaking at the ceremony, a contestant for LFA Vice President for Operations, Beauford O. Weeks mentioned that he believes at this time that role of the position he is seeking should be actualized.

      According to Mr. Weeks, the duty of the Vice President for Operations is to supervise and oversee the technical department of the LFA.

     He promised that when given the opportunity, many of those things desired would be achieved.
Weeks pointed out that he intends to strengthen the LFA President in her efforts.
