Sports Ministry Needs 53 Thousand For Lone Star Game

by Horatio Bobby Willie

The Ministry of Youth and Sports say it needs about 53 thousand United States Dollars for the Lone Star home match on October 8.

Assistant Sports Minister Murphy Gray said the Liberia Football Association submitted the budget for the game.

Assistant Minister Gray said a voucher has been prepared and the ministry was hopeful it would get the money by the weekend.

He said the money would cover tickets reimbursement for professional players, referees indemnities, players’ perdiems, lodging for both the home and visiting teams among others.

With the inclusion of sports in the current budget it is believed that the ministry would find it easy in securing funding for the game.
