Sports Writers, Youth and
Sports Sign MOU

The Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) and the Ministry of Youth
and Sports (MYS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between their
respective institutions.
A SWAL release issued yesterday said, in keeping with the MOU both
institutions will collaborate, network and undertake programs to promote
sports in the country.
According to the MOU, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) shall allow
sports journalists on all international travels of the National Teams; while
SWAL on the other hand, shall select journalists traveling with the national
teams.
The two bodies further agreed in the MOU, that SWAL shall coordinate and
ensure the promotion and publicity of the various national teams.
Sports Minister Max Dennis signed on behalf of his Ministry yesterday, while
the President of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL, Henry B.
Flomo signed on behalf of the Association. |
