One of Liberia’s best defenders Solomon Grimes has been transferred
to LISCR FC.
The player put pen to paper from Barolle to LISCR Monday evening at
the head offices of the Liberia Football Association.
The transfer of Grimes has reached the number of Barolle Players
that have been transferred to LISCR this season to three.
Ben Martin and Nuzohn Kulala are the other two.
Solomon Grimes was transferred for forty thousand Liberian Dollars
($40,000.00) in line with the new LFA transfer regulations.
Confusion on the transfer of Ben Martin and Nuzohn Kulala from
Barolle to LISCR broke out between the two clubs a week ago.
The two players were prevented from being future for LISCR in the
first match of the Liberia Football Association 2007 National
League.
But the deadlock was broken when the President of LISCR Mustapha
Raji announced that the two players would be featured and it
happened as he said.
Mr.Raji threatened that he would take make a complaint to CAF and
FIFA if his two players were prevented from playing.
Barolle is yet to comment on the action by the LISCR Boss.
This latest signing of Solomon Grimes would likely make LISCR a team
to reckon with despite drawing her first match in the 2007 National
League against Watanga FC 2-2.
