Solomon Grimes completes move in Greece

Written by Horatio Bobby Willie

Former LISCR FC defender Solomon Grimes has completed his loan move from a Greek Super League club to a second division side.

Solomon Grimes joined Asteras Tripolis in August but could not feature for the club due to foreign players regulation.

The club has loaned the Liberian international to second division club Ethnikos Piraeus FC for one season.

Ethnikos Piraeus has already presented Solomon Grimes the number 50 jersey and he will be in action for the club this weekend.

Solomon Grimes played a number of preseason matches for Ethnikos Piraeus and his performance impressed the club coaching staff.

Ethnikos Piraeus is expected to use Grimes as a defensive midfielder.

Solomon Grimes brings to four the number of Liberian football players that are now playing for Greek clubs.
