Solo Leaves For Greece

Young Liberian international defender Solomon Grimes leaves the country on today Monday for the European Nation of Greece.

The promising center back who joined LISCR from defending premiership side Mighty Barrolle according to reports will be leaving the country for that part of the world thru a promotional exercise by international midfielder Kelvin Sebwe and a Greek agent.

Kelvin who has being playing in the land of the former European champions for the quite a protracted period has his former playmate Musa Sillah at Black Star Musa Sillah as the scout in Liberia.

According to the former youth international Sillah all is now set for the player's trip where he is expected to join the ranks of a second Division side.

It can be recalled that it was thru similar arrangement former youth international George Boe left the country about a year ago where he is now playing as a second Division player.

Solo as the Greece based hopeful is widely known has won more than seven caps for country, and operated a right wing back in the Lone Star recent loss to Cameroun in a group five nations cup qualifier.

In that match he proved a handful for his direct opponent salomon Olembe who was substituted by coach Jules Federic Nyonga.

Solo came to prominence when he styled for Second Division club Millennium FC, and then joined BArrolle then under the administrative know how of the passionate football lover Lewis Brown in 2003.

He is one of three players ruled out of this weekend clash with Cameroun due to suspension.
