Snyder Retains FIFA Badge

 A veteran Liberian referee, Buster Snyder has been retained as an Assistant Referee by the world's football governing body FIFA.

 A list of assistant referees and referees were released by FIFA for 2007 recently for Liberia but without the inclusion of Snyder.

 This appeared to have shocked those that have followed the performance of Snyder.

 But the Secretary-General of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), George Williams confirmed receiving a communication from FIFA headquarters on the inclusion of Snyder as a FIFA badge Assistant Referee.

 According to Mr. Williams, FIFA attributed the previous exclusion of the referee's name to an "inadvertent error" that has now been ratified.

 The inclusion of Snyder has now completed the names of FIFA badge Assistant Referees to six from Liberia. There are four FIFA badge Referees.
