Snowe praises quality of league

A former President of the Liberia Football Association said the quality of local football is gradually being restored.

Mr. Edwin Snowe said the 2007 national championship has brought back some degree of dignity to the game.

Mr.Snowe who is also a supporter of Invincible Eleven commended the LFA for the level of work it has done so far.

The former LFA President was among thousand of Invincible Eleven fans that stormed the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on Monday to celebrate the team’s championship.

He told Star Radio, he would mobilize along with the leadership of IE to generate resources for the club to play continental football.

Invincible Eleven will represent Liberia next year in the African Champions League.

The competition will begin next January.
