Snowe Leads Lone Star to Malabo

The Chairman of the Mobilization Committee of the Lone Star,
Hon. Edwin Melvin Snowe, is expected to lead a 48-man
delegation to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Tuesday, August
14, to honor an international friendly against the Nzalang
Nacional on the FIFA friendly day, August 15.
Hon. Snowe recently told journalists that his Tuesday’s
departure with the Lone Star marks his future traveling as
member of the security and Fairplay Committee of FIFA in
Africa.
Hon. Snowe who along with other personalities was taken off
a United Nations traveling ban list told journalists over
the weekend at the LFA congress in Buchanan, Grand Bassa
County, that he is grateful that he can now lead the Lone
Star’s delegation after more than eight years. He further
said “I want to assure the Liberian people of our
unflinching support to raise the needed funds to support the
team”
According to a release from the LFA, Hon. Snowe’s delegation
comprises an eight-man technical staff, 26-man playing team
and 11 officials from national government and sponsored
institutions. |
