Six Qualified For First Division

Six-second division teams are on their way to the Liberia Football Association first division league.

The teams finished among the top six in this year’s second division league.

Although there are few games remaining in the league, the current standing of the six

teams have guaranteed their promotion. The teams are Exodus FC, Paynesville Young Controllers and Millennium Stars.

Others are LTC Satellites, Devereaux FC and United Green Eagles. Exodus FC finished at the top of the table and is awaiting the LFA to crown them as champions.

The LFA Executive Committee took the decision for six teams to be promoted to the first division few weeks ago.

The group said it was intended to increase the number of teams in the division and create more competition.
