Written by Horatio Bobby Willie

Thursday, 31 May 2007

A local football promoter is appealing to the technical staff of the lone Star to consider four senior players for the match with Cameroon.

Mr.Musa Sillah said the inclusion of the four players would bring some level of experience to the team.

Mr.Sillah said his appeal comes after watching series of practices of the Lone Star.

The players are Oliver Makor, Prince Daye, Louis Crayton and Kelvin Sebwe.

Mr.Sillah said the four players were very crucial to the success of the Lone Star in the competition.

The former Black Star FC coach also questioned the selection policy of the Lone Star technical staff.

He wondered why would the Lone Star coaches leave out some of the nation’s top class players ahead of what he called a must win game.

Mr.Sillah also refuted reports that the four players were old and could not make any active contribution to the team
