Sewe Sport Of Ivory Coast Signs On
Five Liberians

Five players of a local club have secured contracts with a premier
league club in the Ivory Coast. Five players of a local club have
secured contracts with a premier league club in the Ivory Coast.
The players joined the clubs after successful tried out matches. The
five Liberians are from Liberia Football Association first division
champions Gedi &Sons FC.
The players left the country a little over two weeks ago to seek
greener pasture. The players have joined Ivorian premiership side
Sewe Sport.
The players are defender Omega Roberts, goalkeeper Melvin King and
striker Jerry Jimmy. Others that have put pen to paper for three
years are Ambrose Wreh and Chris Dukuly.
The president of Gedi &Sons who accompanied his players said the
deal was good. Mr. Patrick Garwo told Star Radio via mobile phone
form Ivory Coast that the Ivorian league would provide his players
the opportunity to move to bigger clubs in Europe.
Sewe Sports finished 2nd to Asec in the just ended Ivorian
Premiership League and would be one of that country’s
representatives in next year’s African Champions League. |
