Seton Repay Sabah FC

02/ 17/ 2004
Liberian international Josiah "JB" Seton
was retained by Malaysian Super League championship contenders Sabah
FC on Wednesday.
Seton, who became a household name in Sabah with 24 goals for
the team in his first season in 2002, was still hopeful of renewing
his football links with the Rhinos.
The player was retained due to the intervention of Sabah FC
FA president Datuk Anifah Aman. Sabah coach Peter Butler now has one
more slot for a foreign player after Aussie Robbie Gasper was let go.
Sabah now have Keith Gumbs, the player who was brought
to replace Seton last season, Brazilian defender Mazinho and Liberian
Seton.
As a way of showing his gratitude to the FA president, Seton
score two brilliant goals to bring Sabah down from a one zero margin
as they defeated rivals Sarawak FC three goals to one in the Borneo
derby of the opening Super League match.
Sabah leads the league at this moment.
On the other hand Liberian Frank Seator was unable to find
the back of the net against Penang as his side drew nil nil against
Penang. Seator did score, but his goal was disallowed due to the
fact he was outside, he also hit the post in the 60 min.
Seator will not feature in the next S League match as his son is
hospitalized, but will be available for the AFC Cup match against
Happy Valley of Hong Kong.
