Liberia striker Frank Seator and Khalid Jamlus partnership in the
attack is set to be a permanent feature for Perak in the campaign in
the Malaysian League, something which is already paying dividends.
According to reports from Malaysia, Seator and Khalid paired up for
the first time and showed their potency against Happy Valley FC in an
AFC Cup Group D match at the Mongkok Stadium in Hong Kong on recently.
Perak won the match 2-1, Seator scored in the 71st minute to cancel
out the lead Ambbassa Gerard gave Hong Kong in the sixth minute.
Khalid, who came in for K. Yoganathan in the 65th minute, netted the
winner in the 80th minute.
Perak assistant coach Zakaria Mohammed said Khalid and Seator showed
good understanding upfront. "Khalid still lacked match exposure but
that is understandable because he has been out for a long time.
His combination with Seator will improve with more work hard work,"
said Zakaria.
Khalid, who won the Golden Boot in 20022, was out ion the cold for six
months after undergoing a knee surgery.
And Seator came into the team as a replacement for Khalid and helped
Perak to retain the Malaysian Premier title.
In the Super League, Perak have drawn the two matches played thus far
against Pahang (0-0) and Selangar
(1-1).
