Liberian footballers in the Swedish league this season are trying to balance their clubs ranking in various divisions.

Lone Star Under-23 striker Sam Johnson has started scoring this season, the Liberian forward netted two goals on Saturday in Juventus IF 4-0 victory, and it was the club first win this season.

While Liberia’s defensive block Arnold Kennedy was also active in the middle for the club during their 4-0 smile last weekend against Järna SK.

Lone Star forward Dioh Williams is the only Liberian currently in the Swedish top flight (Allsvenskan) with BK Hacken that is 3rd on the log with 16 points from nine matches. The result from their midweek fixture against IFK Norrkoping may increase their ranking on shift them a step down on the table.

The Liberian forward is yet to score and he will be looking forward to the mid clash to register his first goal of the season.

Amadaiya Rennie is currently roasting things with for Degerfors IF that plays in the Superttan league, which the second level of football in Sweden.

Degerfors IF got their first win last weekend. The club lost their first four matches of the season before they got the 3-1 victory from Brage IF and lost to Varberg last Saturday.
The club will face Varnamo today (Wednesday) during their 7th league fixture. Degerfors IF is 15 on the sixteen teams table with three points from six matches.

Three Liberians are making things right with Harnosands FF in the Swedish 2nd division, striker Prince Somah, forward James Teaway and top scorer Anthony Allison.

The club is 4th on the ladder with seven points from three matches and they have a midweek fixture today against Umedalen today.

Anthony Allison scored 26 goals for Sundsvall IFK last season in the Swedish league and he is currently Harnosands FF top scorer this season.

Meanwhile Taurus Manneh was not on the score sheet for IK Viking over the weekend when they collected their 5-1 win.

The Liberian striker has been netting goals for the Swedish side since he joined them from 2nd division side Carlsdat United BK.
