Sports Writers Leadership To Be Inducted Saturday
The official installation program of officers-elect of the Sports
Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL) will take place on Saturday,
January 28, 2006 at 1:00PM at the YMCA Building on Crown Hill, Broad
Street, Monrovia.
Those to be installed are Hilary Justice Colnoe (DC 101),
President-elect, Albert K. Jaja (Truth FM), Vice President-elect and
Julu M. Johnson, Jr. (The News Newspaper), Secretary-elect. The rest
are Jean Wleh Bedell (The Analyst Newspaper), Assistant
Secretary-General-elect, and Alex Tokpah (Freelance Photographer),
Treasurer.
The incoming leadership of SWAL will conduct the affairs of the
association for the next two years.
The occasion will be graced by past and present officials and members
of SWAL as well as heads of sporting federations and associations in
the country.
The occasion will be climaxed by a fundraising rally that is geared
towards the upkeep of the association.
