As the mêlée for the administration of the Lone Star drags on, it’s somewhat apparent that the FA is the exclusive administrator of the Liberia football team.

FA President Edwin Snowe, in a telephone effort from his US base, has reversed the Sports Minister crack to halt the Lone Star.

Minister Max Dennis March 21 announced via secular Lone Star withdrawals from all international appearances for five years, citing grappling economic screech on the part of his government.

Mr. Snowe said the decision of the Sports Minister was unilateral, counterfeit and too expensive as far as the managing of the team is concerned

The Liberia FA stance to retain the Lone Star in the 2004 ANC Qualifiers despite the inflexibility of the Sports Minister, suggests the lawful influence of the FA as enshrined under FIFA provision that football is devoid of political opinions.

Minister Dennis reportedly told Sports journalists that President Taylor certified his move, but it is the same President Taylor that approved cash for the team travel Tuesday.

“The Minister has been capitalizing on the absence of the FA President to dramatize his act, but the stage was too slippery this time around so he slipped”, observers have outlined,

Meanwhile the decision, which is now firmly deflated and dumped as the Lone star travels to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, leaves mixed feelings about Minister Dennis ineptitude.

Observers have indicated that Minister Dennis is an apprentice in administration and the brain behind preceding withdrawals.

An experienced football administrator who rather mystery, said that the Sports Minister might not have taken the decision alone, but his splotch has indicted him.

“Strong decisions as such must be read by the FA itself with backing from the Sports Ministry and not the other way round”, the anonymous administrator fathomed.

He disclosed that the decision was miscalculated and the Minister shouldn’t have been the one to announce it considering his range, which doesn’t only include football.

Whatever the circumstance of the Minister is now, the Liberia FA has attained another success over its boss although it’s too early to celebrate.
