Rivercess and Grand Gedeh in county meet decider

The winner of this year’s national county meet will be determined this afternoon at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

The match will see surprise of the competition Rivercess take on crowd pulling Grand Gedeh County.

A win for Grand Gedeh will see the southeastern county lift the trophy while Rivercess needs at least a draw to become champions.

On Sunday, Grand Gedeh was held to a 1-1 draw by Bomi County.

Rivercess County started the party on Saturday with a convincing 2-0 win over Bomi County.

The counties are meting in a best out of three final series

The Government of Liberia and the United Nations Development Program are jointly sponsoring this year’s county meet.
