Report from The Game with Oman

Comments From Clarence Lee Chea ( In Business Suit)
CAF High Level Coach & UEFA Class 'B' Coach

I will like to comment a bit on the present Lone Star team that i saw in Oman last week.

Frankly, I must admit that Liberia both LFA and MYS) made the right choice by choosing coach Hey and giving him the working environment to bring his principal deputy.

They are good absolutely. He (Coach Hey) has leadership skills that is require by all coaches no matter their level.

As for the team itself, I love them for so many reasons, but will comment on the few:

They are willing to learn, They are young, They are team mates than players which is very important, They have good future only if they continue to be discipline, time conscience, hardworking and dedicated.

I was very impressed with thier performance in Oman especially with the ability to listen from the bench. They had lot of chances in the 2nd half, but wasted especially Tony Laffor,a bit by James Lomell and JJC Christian Essel.

With this squad, when blended with others like Dulee Johnson, Dioh William, Jimmy Dixon, Francis Doe, Ben Teekloh, Louis Crayton and Prince Daye I believe there will be high competition for position by performance if and only if they act according to the book of Isaiah 1:19 in the holy Bible.

For the local boys, they have great chances on the team than the professional technically to speak as a coach. The likes of Theo Weeks and James Zortiah they are great phenomenon, I love them especially Zortiah he is fast for today's game.

Meanwhile, I and my partner (Emmanuel Lartey) have decide to be committed to the exposure and promotion of this young squad by properly arranging more international friendlies no matter the lapses occurred in Oman by one or two individuals.

On the other hand we take the blame especially me as a patriotic Liberian.

But, one thing I want for many people to understand is that I am not an MYS or LFA official to act in that capacity that's why there were one or two lapses.

But, we promised that such will NEVER happen. Next time around i will have to be on the ground in Liberia to properly arrange with the sporting bodies while my buddy Lartey is in Ghana linking things up the same way.

To conclude, we have on hand the following countries that are eager to play Liberia, they include the Kingdom of Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain and UAE.

Lastly, on behalf of Mr.Emmanuel Lartey and I we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr.Marbue Richards, Mr.George Williams, Mr.Benedict Yarsiah, The Coaches and the players for honoring the impromptu invitation from the Sultanate of Oman.
