Razak Arrives In Indonesia
By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.
Liberian midfielder Francis Carr has arrived in the Far East of Asia
to pursue his soccer career.
The player, popularly known as Razak, left the country more than a
week ago and is expected to secure a contract in Indonesia.
As captain, Razak led the NPA Anchors to the Liberia Football
Association (LFA) Premier League title before quitting to seek
professional football.
He was among seven players that left the country with the
assistance of Indonesian-based Liberian players Fallah Johnson and
Joseph Amoah. The other players that made the trip include Winston
Moses, Charles Bility, Alex Robertson, Rashidi Williams and Henry
Gobah.
A closed friend of Razak, Emmanuel Crooks Nimely, who also plays
for the NPA Anchors, commended the Project Accountant of the NPA
Roosevelt Doe who, he said, purchased the player's air ticket.
Nimely also gave thanks to Madam Jennabah Kamara and William N.
Tokpa, Chairman of the Friends of Friends Haitai Association (FOFHA)
for also contributing to the player's departure.
Razak began his soccer sojourn in the township of West Point with
Young Kotoko.
Later, he played for NPA Anchors before joining Junior
Professionals. He then moved to St. Anthony from LPRC Oilers after
the dissolution of Junior Professionals. |
