Liberia’s Isaac Pupo was voted player of the month in Azerbaijan’s premier league for October.

Pupo who plays for FK Karabakh in the top league has been instrumental in his club’s drive to win the championship.

Isaac Pupo currently plays as a central midfielder and has become a livewire for the club by helping to create most of the goals.


Pupo, according to reports was vital in FK Karabakh last league victory that saw them jumped up to the eight place on the league table after a poor start to the season.

The local media in Azerbaijan is reporting that top Turkish clubs are tracking the young Liberian.

The media said it is likely that a January move could be possible if Karabakh steps down its high financial demand.
