President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has congratulated the Invincible Eleven-Majestic Football Association for winning this year's Liberia Football Association Championship league.

The President, in a congratulatory telephone message to the Acting President of the Association, Mr. John Smythe, lauded the Club for its courage and determination during the just ended league. IE's success, the President noted, bears true testimony to what can be achieved with a unity of purpose.

An Executive Mansion release said the President renewed her government's commitment to support the development of sports throughout the country by providing budgetary appropriations to support the country's sports programs.

Invincible Eleven clinched the championship having topped the league's table with the highest number of points. The championship by I.E. is the first in ten years.
