Pastors, Chaplains Consecrate SKD

Over 50 pastors, including members of the National Chaplain Association of Liberia (NACOAL), and the prayer band of the Ministry of Youth and Sports over the weekend, conducted intensive prayers at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.

The prayer according to officials was intended to turn over the sports stadium to Jesus Christ following its renovation.

The one hour prayer brought together various church leaders including Mother Esther Nyenma of the Jireh International as well as the Minister of Youth and Sports Etmonia Tarpah. .

The pastors than carried out an indoor crusade where they prayed against any possible evil plan against the Complex and also evoked the spirit of God to protect all governmental facilities in the country.

Prophetess Mother Nyunma sprinkled “holy oil” across the stadium and said the oil represents the sealing of the stadium against evil men and those fighting against the survival of the state and people. She also explained that the church needs to hold together so as be the defender against forces in the dark.

She then prayed saying “any one who rises against the state would be thwarted as there was no place again for crises in the country.”

Mother Nyunma who is also the religious advisor to President Sirleaf recounted that the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sport Complex would be strong and survive because, prayers offered at the Complex, consecrated it against any future defeat.

One of them, Rev.Kafa Teah, thanked the senior pastor of the 1st Baptist church Joseph Johnson for reacting to Minister Laurence Bropleh’s statement against the churches of Liberia . Brolpleh is on record to have said that church leaders were allowing their congregants to suffering and were only enriching themselves.

Rev. Teah said Rev. Johnson‘s reaction has blessed the church and that according to him, brought about unity among churches across the country.
