Omega Roberts Pen New Serbian Deal

Liberia’s international center defender Omega Roberts has signed a new two years deal in the Serbian top flight with FK Smederevo. Roberts will be in action on the 11 of August against FK Vojvodina Novi Sad during his first official league match for the club in Serbia.

The former Gedi & Son centre stopper moved to Serbia last season from Malian side Cercle Olympigue de Bamako and experience a pleasant season with his former Serbian side Sloboda Uzice: his performance attracted FK Smederevo and they signed him on a two years deal.

Omega last played for Sloboda Uzice last season during his first European season, and he has gained huge experience that is pushing him to the top.

The center defender has been a regular leg in Liberia’s last two international matches that ended goalless in Monrovia and away to Namibia.

Roberts present in Lone Star centre half saw the country playing two matches without conceiving a goal in many years.
