Olympic Committee On Anti-Doping Campaign
By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The Liberia National Olympic Committee (LNOC) will hold the anti-doping campaign on Friday, November 19.

The organizing committee chairman David Kollie said the campaign is intended to educate young Liberians against the use of bad substances.

According to Mr. Kollie, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has mandated all national federations to organize anti-doping campaigns in their respective countries.

He revealed that ten schools will participate in the campaign that will involve a parade from the Cathedral High School to the Sports Commission.

Kollie said some of the messages would be for athletes to play sports without taking drugs .
He therefore asked the various federations and associations to involve their athletes in the campaign so they would learn about substances.
