Oliver Makor, Six Others Get Call Up To Lone Star

by Horatio Bobby Willie

Liberian international midfielder Oliver Makor has been recalled to the national team.

Makor earned his recall in the recent listing submitted by the technical staff of the Lone Star to football authorities.

The technical staff named seven professional players that they want to use for the Liberia versus Rwanda game on October 8 in Monrovia.

Oliver Makor plays his club football in Greece for Ionikos.

Others named by the technical staff are Francis Grandpa Doe of Greek Club Atromitos, Dioh Williams and Jimmy Dixon of Swedish Club BK Hacken and Louis Crayton of Swiss Club FC Basel.

The technical staff has also invited Anthony Laffor of Jomo Cosmos based in South Africa and Zah Krengar of Indonesian Club Persikapbas.

LFA Vice President for Operations Adolph Lawrence told Star Radio they have already faxed the clubs of the seven players.

Mr. Lawrence said he expects that the players would arrive in the country by October 5.
