Liberian born Dutch youth international Ola John seems not to be thinking on playing for the Lone Star as he has set his standard high after being named in the provisional 37-man squad of the Dutch national team, the Orange. The 19 year old who plies his trade with Steve Mccleren’s FC Twente in the Erdivisie, was named in the squad by Coach Bert van Marwijk as the Dutch are among the favorites to win the title.

Now in a squad with the likes of Arjen Robben, Robin Van Pierse and Wesley Sneijder, the pacey winger must be aiming high as the Lone Star are far behind. He will however be hoping he makes the final squad for the Poland, Ukraine showpiece that will be drawing a host of the world stars.
