remain on top in LFA league

Premiership leaders LPRC Oilers came from a goal down to manage a
1-1 draw against NPA Anchors on Sunday at the Antoinette Tubman
Stadium.
NPA dominated the match from beginning to end. Alfred Jayan put NPA
ahead in the 4th minute of the match.
Substitute Frank Osuigwe leveled the score for LPRC. The Nigerian
scored during extra time of the match.
Oilers now lead the table on goal difference with 24 points.
Elsewhere, Mighty Barrolle forced LISCR FC to a 2-2 draw in
Buchanan. The draw keeps the Premiership defending Champions at the
second spot with 24 points.
LISCR is 8th on the table with 17 points. Black Star buried Roots FC
5-0 in another premiership showpiece. The match was played at the
Unification Town Field in Lower Margibi County.
Yao Abblode scored twice for Back Star while teammate Elijah Pierre
also scored two times.
James Roberts secured the winner for Black Star from a penalty kick.
Earlier at the Unification Town sports pitch Small Town FC forced
Blue Diamond to a 1-1 draw.
The Harbel based Blue Diamond took the lead in the 10th minute
through an Allison Nyumah effort.
Joe Sonpon leveled for Small Town in the 46th minute to ensure a
point for his team.
