moves on top in LFA league

Sensational LPRC Oilers has moved to the top of the Liberia Football
Association premiership table. Oilers did so after scoring an
impressive 1-0 win defending champions Mighty Barrolle in Buchanan
on Sunday.
Johnny Bleede scored the winner for Oilers who played most part of
the game with 10 players. Oilers leading scorer Alfred Kortu was red
carded in the opening half of the game. The victory has given Oilers
16 points while Barrolle is second with 14 points.
NPA Anchors moved to the third position on the table after a win
over Black Star FC. NPA Anchors whipped Black Star 2-1 at the
Unification Town pitch in Margibi County. Sengbe Kennedy scored the
consolation goal for Black Star.
At the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia, LISCR FC scored a
convincing victory over Invincible Eleven. Taiwo Ayenboyin opened
the score for LISCR FC through a Prince Garwo well taken corner. The
Nigerian scored in the 18th minute of the match.
Nuzohn Kulala sealed the win for LISCR with a wonderful free kick
that left IE veteran goalkeeper Lartee Jackson spellbound.
Kulala scored in the 78th minute to give LISCR thirteen points from
eight matches. Earlier at the ATS, Kortie IE and Antares managed a
scoreless draw in female soccer.
