Manchester City striker Alex Nimely says he is ready to
feature for the Lone Star and wants the LFA to speed up the
process that will make him eligible to wear the red, white
and blue.
Speaking from Sweden on Thursday, where the striker is
making use of the free time due to the international break,
the ex-Mighty Barrolle man said “I am ready to play for the
Lone Star. “There is no turning back now, all I want is for
the LFA to conclude with my father as he is just waiting for
a call and then the paper works with FIFA which takes a very
short period will be sorted out”.
Nimely also noted “I saw how Victor Moses process was done
easily to play for Nigeria. “You know by then he was at
Wigan which is closer to Manchester, so I was able to follow
the entire process. “I also saw the Nigerian delegation that
visited him there to complete the whole exercise”, the
youngster indicated.
The ex-Cotton Sport Garoua finisher then said “Liberia has a
lot of quality players who only need to be encouraged with
more support being allocated for the various national teams.
