CAF Selects Nigerian Referees -Name Gambian Match Commissioner

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Nigerian referees
for the Liberia versus Niger match slated for Saturday, October 12, 2002.
According to LFA General Secretary Yanqueh S. Borsay, CAF informed them that
the Central Referee is Alex Mana Sule, Assistant Referee 1 is Taiwo Osame
and Assistant Referee 2 is Sani Madaki, all of Nigeria. The Match
Commissioner is Conateh Ousmane of The Gambia. CAF has also selected
Augustine Gooding of Liberia as the Reserved Referee for the same match.
The three Nigerian referees and the Gambian Match Commissioners are expected
in the country mid week. |
