The NPA Sports Association says its football team has met the
deadline for registration in next year’s CAF Cup Competition.
The President of the NPA Sports Association said they have made
their financial commitment for registration to the Liberia Football
Association.
Mr. Jimmy Toe said his association paid three hundred and forty
United States Dollars to the local football house for registration.
Mr. Toe attributed their delay to pay the money to the LFA on
financial bureaucracy at the NPA.
He told Star Radio that management has committed it self to see the
team play in the CAF Cup.
The local football house set November 25 as the deadline for
registration for the two regional competitions.
However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) set November 30
as the deadline for registration.
Mighty Barrolle has already registered for the competition.
It is hope that the two teams will not only register but will be
able to gather the resources to play in the champions’ league and
CAF cup. |
