NPA Anchors Beaten At Last

                          League leaders NPA Anchors

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The good form of the newly promoted NPA Anchors was brought to a close last Sunday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (AST) on Lynch Street.

To the surprise of their many fans, the port boys bowed to Monrovia Club Breweries 1-0 in a premier league encounter.

However, the NPA Anchors are still on top of the premier league with ten points from five matches.
The Monrovia Club Breweries are second on the table with eight points. They share the spot with another debutante Roots FC who also have eight points.

LISCR FC, the reigning knockout champions, silenced Kadallah Kromah and LPRC Oilers 1-0 on Saturday to move into fourth place with seven points. Invincible Eleven (IE) also have seven points.

The current premier league champions Mighty Barrolle are second from bottom with four points. Alliance FC lie at the bottom with three points.
