The NPA Anchors, led by Frank Jerico Nagbe

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The NPA Anchors, led by Frank Jerico Nagbe, have caused another upset in the ongoing 2005 National League.

Even though newcomers in the premier league, the NPA Anchors whipped reigning champions Mighty Barrolle 1-0 on Sunday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS).

Despite seeing Frank Nagbe Jr.'s penalty saved by Barrolle's goalkeeper, the Freeport boys still went on to get the match winner in the first half.

The NPA Anchors have now grabbed six points in two matches after whipping Invincible Eleven (IE) 1-0 similarly.

Meanwhile, on Sunday also, Tito United crushed Blanco 4-0 in the female second division league, while LPRC Oilers and newly promoted Roots FC drew 1-1.
