The heart of the lone Star defense, Murphy Nagbe says Osasuna
striker Achille Webo has made him hungry for European football.
According to the the Indonesian club PSMS Medan defense ace, the
gangling striker made him to believe that he is capable of not just
playing in Europe, but a top side for that matter.
"Mid way during the second half, Webo asked me where was i playing",
according to the former LISCR defender, " i replied by saying
Indonesia, and he asked you mean Asia? Why are you there, are you
not interested in Europe"?
He noted that the tormentor told him "get to Europe. you are capable
of playing for a top team there. You can make it".
After scoring a brace in the first leg in Yaoundé, Murphy kept rein
on the striker for the full 90 minutes which prompted the striker to
keep faith in him.
It can be recalled that after the match as well Cameroonian Captain
Rigobert Song Bahanag noted that Liberia needs a player like he Song
to help Murphy Nagbe provide width and balance in the defensive
third.
