Mighty Barrolle, Others in Weekend Actions

By Weah Ephraim Harris
Liberia’s former club Mighty Barrolle may encounter a tough
and difficult task this weekend to face in Sanniquellie,
Nimba County against Nimba United FC. Barrolle currently
holds a point from two matches played so far in the ongoing
national league. Barrolle drew with Watanga FC in their
opening fixture and lost to Jubilee FC last Saturday at the
Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
Nimba United has six points from two matches, and will be
looking forward to a win in Sanniquellie on Sunday. The game
is one of the fifteen premiership matches that are scheduled
for the Sanniquellie mini stadium this season.
In Ganta, International Black Star, the feeler squad of
Nimba United FC will welcome Army boy Defense Guidance at
the Ganta unseated park. International Black Star missed out
in collecting any of the three points against newly promoted
1st division side Garnerville FC.
At two venues today in Unification Town stadium and the
Kakata Sport stadium in Margibi County, its Georgia FC vs.
ROZA FC at 2pm and St. Joseph vs. Exodus at 4pm in Kakata.
In Unification Town there will be no premiership matches as
2nd Division side Fulani FC will seek points from New
Georgia Pirates, while Gedi & Sons battle free six points
collector Monrovia FC.
Other Weekend matches for the ATS on Saturday and Sunday are
Satellite vs. Bassa Defenders at 2pm, Devereux vs. UMC Roots
at 4pm, USA vs. Watanga FC, and premiership title holder
LISCR FC vs. NPA Anchors in the late kickoff game at 8pm.
In Sunday matches, female Kortie IE will meet Kebbeh FC at
2pm, while Shooters FC will take on Tito Sisters at 4pm.
Also in the male games, Gardnerville FC will take on FC
Fassell, while six points holder Jubilee FC will encounter
