Mighty Barrolle Win, But IE Draw

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The reigning football champions Mighty Barrolle defeated newly promoted Roots FC 4-1 at the
Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on Lynch Street in Monrovia.

The victory was the second for the Rollers who are finding it tough this 2005 National Football
League.

Mighty Barrolle, who have lost some key players to rival clubs, have lost three matches to
another newly promoted side and league leaders NPA Anchors, LPRC Oilers and archrivals Invincible Eleven (IE).

The Yellow Boys, IE were held to a 1-1 draw by the LPRC Oilers on Saturday at the ATS. IE would
have won the match had they converted a penalty.

The current premier league leaders NPA Anchors will take on second place side and knockout
holder LISCR FC on Wednesday, May 11.
