Mighty Barrolle has received a consignment of football materials.

The materials came from the club’s USA branch. Mr.Garmondeh Karnga presented the materials to the team Wednesday.

Mr.Karnga made the donation on behalf of the USA branch. Barrolle received a set of jersey, 13 footballs and 17 shim –pads. The club’s current president Joseph Merchant received the materials.

He commended the Barrolle –USA branch for coming to the aid of the club. Mr. Merchant said Barrolle was undergoing a difficult period. Meanwhile, Mr. Joseph Merchant has endorsed the interim leadership of the club.

He did so at a meeting of Barrolle executives. Mr. Merchant hopes the interim leadership will bring back the old spirit of the Rollers.

Five names have surfaced to fill the technical vacuum in Mighty Barrolle. Mighty Barrolle is currently without a coach. The team’s coach David Nimley resigned because the club failed to pay him for several months.

An official of the club Kellie Miller told Star Radio a committee has been set up to interview the coaches. Two former national coaches are among the five applicants.

They are Wilfred Tejani Lardner and Frank Jericho Nagbe. Others are Kasumu Sillah, Hasey Duwakoe and Abraham Williams.

Mr. Miller did not say when the committee would begin work. Barrolle is currently rocked by financial crisis.
